Much of our success is owed to working closely with local veterinary practices, our associations with canine rescue centres and customer referrals. Our practice has also been featured in both national press and radio.
"Pippa's experience of working with animals is extensive. She has worked with elephants in India, is the Education Officer at Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks and is a qualified dog behaviour counsellor. She believes in using gentle and non-aggressive techniques that promote an understanding and therefore a more rewarding relationship between dog and owner. The owner will be able to understand why a dog is acting as it is and how to encourage the behaviour that they would like. As a result the dog is a joy to have as a pet again!" Kent on Sunday
"A young business women is completing the final stages of an MSc in Animal Behaviour and Psychology to compliment her dog counselling business." Folkestone Herald
"One of the many hundreds of dogs Pippa has successfully treated over the years, one in particular stands out. 'The dog had been hit by a car and ever since had refused to let his owner near him. When the dog was knocked down it was the owner who had taken him to the vet. The dog had learned to associate the owner with the pain he felt at the time. My job was to encourage the dog to have a positive association with the owner instead of one of pain. It took about six months but was worth every minute to see the joy on the owners face when his dog came bounding up to him!'" Folkestone Herald
"Pippa believes that the main problem comes when people treat their dogs like humans, 'they do not follow the same logic that we do and when they misbehave we punish them for not understanding us. Owners often love their dog like a member of the family but need to remember that the dog will always think and act like a dog!'" Folkestone Extra

Many of our customers have requested the opportunity to let others know how happy they have been with our services.
Dear Pippa & Louise
We just wanted to thank-you for the difference you have made to our lives. We appreciate that it was probably us and not Copper that needed the training but you weren't too hard on us! The overall result has meant that our relationship with Copper has just changed around. He was becoming aggressive and snapping at us and our visitors - we were really becoming quite scared of him. He was beginning to rule the whole household and was not the 'pleasure' that you expect a dog to be. Your training methods and support have been so positive, they have really built our trust back in what is now our perfect boy! Thank-you.
Sarah and Michael Brandon (and Copper!)
Dear Pippa & Louise
Just a short note to say "Thank you" for all of your help and advice you gave us recently when you visited our home. When we initially called you on the Saturday morning, we were very impressed to have a same day visit from you both to discuss our problems. We have implemented all of your recommendations and have noticed a marked improvement in their behaviour. Both dogs have locked onto the whistle and will come to us immediately they hear it. Once again, thank you very much. We will have no hesitation in recommending your excellent service. Regards
