Dog shows, events and talks by Best Behaviour

 

Wednesday 5th May 2010

Puppy Classes 6.15pm - 7.15pm - Hythe Methodist Church

Classes are run throughout the year for pups under the age of five months. The six week course covers all the basic training requirements such as sit, stay, down, leave, heel and recall. The classes give you the opportunity to socialise your puppy in a safe environment and you will learn how to help prevent behavioural problems that could develop later in life.

Understanding Dog Behaviour Seminar - The Spitfire Pub, King's Hill, West Malling 7.00pm - 8.30pm

 This is your chance to really understand what makes your dog tick! Best Behaviour will show you how to communicate with your dog to help resolve and prevent behavioural problems. Places are limited and must be booked, tickets £10 each. Call Best Behaviour on 01303 269172 to reserve your place.

An evening with Prof. Peter Neville 7pm – 9pm, Mercure Imperial Hythe, Kent.

 The lecture will discuss the behavioural processes and impacts of domestication on the dog, emotional development of the individual and an introduction into how to approach understanding behavioural problems, including case histories.

Professor Peter Neville, world renowned founder of COAPE and a practising pet behaviourist for 20 years, will describe the new way of thinking in the field of dog behaviour, the EMRA approach: emotion, mood and reinforcement assessment.
